SPRINTS – an original format, developed by Fine Acts – is a creative bootcamp where visual artists have 48 hours to produce an artwork on a specific issue.

All works are then published under an open license, so that activists, nonprofits and educators globally can use them in their work.

To inspire action and hope for climate, we've united hundreds of artists from all around the world to create for change.

In 2021, Countdown, TED’s initiative to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis, and Fine Acts – a global creative studio for social impact, joined forces to kick off a series of SPRINTS creative bootcamps on climate change around the world. The goal: to engage artists to envision what a better climate future looks like. Today, three years later, this has grown into an extraordinary collaboration with 20 TEDx events, collectively hosting 22 SPRINTS.

As a result, hundreds of new artworks joined The Climate Collection – our unique vault with open-licensed visuals on climate change.

But there’s so much more! The SPRINTS bootcamps created a deep sense of community, belonging and purpose amongst the artists, instilled hope and inspiration, and the dozens of pop-up exhibitions further deepened understanding and ignited conversations and direct action on climate.
